Which aftermarket 996 GT2 front bumper to get??

Another option is RUF. They make a front bumper that looks very much like the GT2 bumper with the main difference being that it has a built in splitter. Comes with all brackets and ducting to relocate the center radiator and properly vent air over the hood. It's perfectly flat and sealed on the underside. Made in Germany out of polyurethane just like the OEM Porsche stuff, OE quality, perfect fit, and designed in a wind tunnel to function at +220mph. About $4K all in.

Ruf
If in Europe, why not go to RUF, or RS TUNING or MANTHEY, etc.

I've looked into this once before and while the OEM GT2 bumper is expensive, you are guaranteed a good fit and excellent quality since it is OEM. Aftermarket bumpers may be cheaper but when its all said and done the amount you spend with a shop getting it to fit properly may equal or exceed the cost of just going OEM to begin with. You could get lucky and have a good fit right off the bat but you never know.

If all you want is the "look" then many of the aftermarket guys are good. However if you want the other advantaged, more cooling etc, either go with the factory pieces or RUF which is very close.

How about OEM. .no issues with alignment and it looks it. Until one looks in cabin to see rear seats -

I have a Wicked 997 GT2 on my C4S. After looking at a lot of them, I believe it is the best looking, and nobody who has seen the car disagrees. Still, it has it's weak points, namely the fit at the side marker lights, and underneath.

Dave, can you post a couple pics of your bumper? How many hours of body work did it take to fit correctly?

There have been many who have done this for cosmetics only but I would think those that run mid to high 3 digit speeds do the complete conversion for downforce and safety
