Gauge Pod setups?? A Pillar or Steering Wheel Column
Gauge Pod setups?? A Pillar or Steering Wheel Column
Anyone running a dual gauge pod setup that is NOT located in the center console??
Personally on the steering wheel column or an A pillar?
I have searched all over and have not seen any A Pillar gauge pod, anyone know of one??
I am looking at running an AFR and boost gauge. I am looking for a version that I really don't have to take my eyes off the roads and the lower console section isn't the best at super high speeds.
Thanks!!

I wound up going with a steering wheel column gauge pod if anyone cares. AFR digital and Boost analog were the two gauge I went with for now.

I was going to install the HKS Comp2 , but it needs alot of things extra to show the values .. !!

On a track car only maybe but a street car it looks like a pep boy add on. I wouldn't put them on my Audis and Vws etc for that reason instead went with vent install or lower in dash custom job. I would take the radio out and make a custom factory look install if I wanted it up high. The bottom line its your car and if its what you want go for it and I apologize if it was taken the wrong way.
I had them on my ford 7.3l turbo diesels. Gave me something to look at from outside the vehicle while I was letting my truck idle down to cool exhaust after a hard pull and keep from wet stacking my turbo, also something to look at while pulling my car when I'm bored.
My TT goes so fast, I don't need to look at boost at that speed. Want to enjoy the road more.
And yes, I think it would look tacky on our TTs

The unit was ALOT smaller then I thought it was, fits perfectly. It fits so far back, into the overhang of the dash, from the side of the car its hard to see. Here was a test fitment:

Nope. But the piece it sits on is the same exact plastic and snaps into place like a stock part. So when people said it will look bad, its literally the same plastic and color.
Looks good. Maybe you can find a way to work a shift light like this in there.

I was thinking a raptor mini shift light right in between the two gauges.
