Reviving an old discussion - K-sport coilovers
Just put 50 miles on them. height set and alignment completed.
I have them set 30 front and 30 rear. The front felt a little bouncy so just reset the fronts to 25. We'll see how it is tomorrow.

KSport - Not the best experience
My two cents...
KSport shocks are NOT worth the time or money. I got 8 months on them before one of them crapped out. Strictly road driving, too! What's more, after having them installed, the car never felt predictable or comfortable. Way too much rebound. My independent Porsche mechanic was not impressed either; "Something not right with those" was his description.
Eight months on the car, and I came out to a puddle of fluid and a blown shock. No track/hard driving, honestly! The overnight temperatures were around 10 degrees, so my guess is there things were never designed for cold temperatures. Very poor design, very poor engineering - whatever, it has not been a good experience.
Called the company I bought them from, and they were happy to get that shock replaced. (Also said these shocks should last 3 to 4 years... Shouldn't a shock last longer then that?) To their merit, sounds like KSport would warranty them for 1 year.
But would you go to the expense to install along with the downtime to remove, ship back and forth, and reinstall? And then expect the same to happen to another one... Not me. Take my loss, and going with PSS10, or something like that.
My advice: Spend a little extra, get something with real quality. Ohlins, Bilstein, KW... Save yourself the money and pain.

Thanks! That's actually the first bad review I've seen. How long ago was this? I know there were quality issues several years ago but they are supposedly better now. It could also be inconsistent quality and yours came out of a crappy batch?
I still plan on giving them a try; I was actually planning the install today but had to postpone.

i'll give my update also...almost 8k miles so far.
No issues so far. I had to mess around with the rebound setting. There's 36..way more than you really need. I ended up with 22 F and 30 R i believe...
The sway bar end links are way different than stock or other CO's. The location and length is different. I had to go through a few sets to get it right as it would rub and I bent a few along the way...but we got it figured out. You have to angle it a certain way. In conclusion, I'm happy so far. We do have snow and salty winters so we'll see how the components hold up...

Thanks!! I hope they can get the adjustment right the first time. I'll give them some pointers based on what you guys use here. Just installed the 4S front lip today, so I'm ready to drop it

probably a dozen different vendors that sell them for this or close to this price.
stop paying to much for a lip that gets torn up all the time!

i have for the last 5 lips or so paid 100 flat for a new c4s lip. NOT the one in that pic above. not a fan of the look. but thx for linking it. it would work for someone. i like the extra .5 inch clearance in the mid section of the c4s and also prefer the look!
steve, that isn't ( from the pic? ) a c4s lip at all. looks more like an aero lip and a cheap one at that. but they are all poly and expungable part e.g. like tires/brakes. so not really caring as long as it's a c4s style.

this from a guy with *maybe* four still stock parts!
nice!

there are no generic vendors for the OEM c4s lip I've been using. i've just been getting them at wholesale

btw. the links you keep posting "say" c4s lip, but they are not. my power of deducement tells me they are merely calling them that as they are the same fit and attachment points! cmon man.. you've seen an OEM c4s lip

I looked all over the place and the 4S lip simply isn't out there aftermarket at this time. Even if they label it 4S, it's typically the turbo style. Best OEM I could find was Sunset in Oregon. $160. Not cheap but everything else is in the $220-$230 range.
LOL

Thanks.,sunset NOT suncoast? Never heard of sunset but the extra 60,is worth it if it confuses people into thinking I have a c4s and not a turbo lol.
Sorry for the thread jack
