What's the latest on these coilovers? I read the early ones had some issues (talking 3-4 years ago). Has anyone bought these recently?

For just some street use and only a few thousand miles a year, this seems like an attractive option. I don't track the car; I just do some canyon runs and would like to adjust the height to my liking.

I would do a few searches. Their have been a few posts in the last year on these. But basically everyone running them likes them. The only people with bad things to say about them are the guys that have not run them. For street they would likely be fine. They may even be good for track use too. But most people running them on the 911 do not track their cars. And considering with the suspension you get monoball mounts, sway links and dampening adjustability I wouldn't hesitate at running them if I didn't already have H&Rs.

I have them and like them. I previously had springs and my teeth would rattle with the slight bump. and the ride is very much improved.

I like that the height is adjustable by the mounting points and not the spring preload like most others. I havent tracked it so I cant tell you what they're like at 9/10 or the life expectancy, but they improved the ride, allowed me to raise the rear for a little rake and they were easy to install.

Good Luck

Thanks guys! I'll put these under serious consideration. I haven't price shopped them. Just saw them for ~ $1300 through vividracing.

They are all over eBay through various reputable vendors as well.

I had them on my Volkswagen CC, had no problems with them at all. Would have done it again, and honestly have thought about putting them on my turbo because for what I use the car for they'd probably be great again.

KSport makes coil overs with an airbag to raise the front for more clearance. Might be less costly than fixing a driveway.

I just need to get some ramps for the gutter. Trying to decide if I want to make something myself or just buy some.

Have you installed yours yet? I'm thinking about getting a set very soon.

I fixed my driveway clearance in the meantime. $20 and works like a charm

I just ordered a set along with camber arms and will be installing them towards the end of the month. I'll report back once I've had some seat time and have my thoughts in order.
