Defi Gauge Unit

In terms of the Defi gauge setup as luting_chen has below, what should the gauges be reading in terms of the Water Temp, Oil Temp, Ext. Temp & Oil Pressure?

They are awesome, but mucho $$$$....
I guess if you own a TT spending $2k on gauges is not that much though, right?

The looks are very nice. The drawback in my opinion is when you glance at them what is the say ............... oil temp. or water temp. etc? It will give you an approx. but over a large range. You have to really look at them and then it is still over a range.

ebay has some decent pricing....

here's the BF series. has the cool startup sweeping feature

http://www.defi-shop.com/product/bf/bf_type.html

and the d-gauge series:
http://www.defi-shop.com/product/dg/dg_type.html

they've ended the boost gauge & tach for the d-gauge series. but the BF ones are sick.

You were looking at the wrong thing...
Those are Defi Link gauges...

You need a control unit to operate those....

Defi-Link Control Unit II $109
Water Temp $153
Oil Temp $153
Boost $196
Pyrometer $215
Oil Pressure $215

$1041 + tax/shipping on gauges alone...

Installation should run between $300-400.....maybe even more....

So you see, I wasn't that far off!

They have a recording feature in them...

So you technically don't even have to look at them...you can do the driving, pull over and replay all the whole drive while you are comforably sitting and drinking your coffee.....

"Driving data can be stored and can be replayed up to 3 minutes."

Then I guess you are probably looking at $600-$800 depending on installation costs....

Buddy, what is the value of the air/fuel ratio? Mine is a great light show, but there's no value that I can figure out -

I didn't get the Defi because they didn't have a transmission temp guage. Cost was comparable with the guages I ended up buying -$2k. 70% of the cost was installation
