To Billet or not?

Guys,

Car is running great after my GIAC flash I got awhile back via Sambo! I have the stock K16s on a K24 flash. We were gonna get new turbos but I had to delay. I'm sure my turbos will continue to get weak. Car is fully set up with brakes and suspension so I can drive it to max no problem. Question is do I go with billet 16's when time is right? I'm good with 550hp so massive power isn't my goal. I want it to be reliable and all around fast. Thanks for your advice up front!

JIC
GT3 brakes
Sway bars
Evoms air box and DVs
Cargraphic exhaust
GIAC flash

Billets are a fantastic choice and will provide you 550-600hp no problem as well as great spool. Sam will guide you in the right direction.

I also really enjoy my Billet K16's from Sambo. If I keep the car for another year, I MIGHT consider going to A28's or 3076's. Not really sure. But for now I like them a lot.

K24's weren't too bad either, I've actually got a set for sale.

Hey Brock! Been a while.
I think for what you want the billets will actually give you some change back (580-600hp). The 24's will work with your existing stuff. More room to grow up to 750+.

Call me anytime

Thanks for the comments guys.

K16s are good for 440whp with Billets you can get to 600whp on race gas.

You need to do some upgrades tho.

5 bar FPR

Upgrade intercoolers

Upgrade boost hoses

Y Pipe

New Tune

70mm exhaust

100 cell cats

Just sent sambo a PM as well. This is about the set up I would like on my 01. So the K16 is stock and the K24s would be the upgrade? What else needs changed and what is the cost? Car has 200 cars and a Tri Flo exhaust with aluminum diverters and a K&N.

Send Sambo your K16 turbos he will get the wheels changed and rebalanced for the K16G Billets and then enjoy the scary power you will put out.

+1 Sambo

If you dont have a 5 bar yes or you will lean out or get injectors then you just leave your stock for in.
