What size meth nozzles for aquamist kit

i need to replace one broken one, Called up Howerton engineering. He said i should be able to run two .9 nozzles. As of now it seems i have two.6 nozzles. He mentioned that the .6 nozzles on a 550 whp car isn't doing much. Running two .9 nozzles will change the AFR by less the a tenth according to him. What do you guys suggest. i need to overnight them as i need to be driving this thing by tomorrow.

I'm running two 1mm nozzles. My car recently dynoed 577whp, but I have farther to go. On the dyno I tuned my meth system. There was for sure a sweet spot. I couldn't spray to the sweet spot with 6mm nozzles, it wouldn't be enough.

Good luck!

i run 2x1.2mm the biggest choice even at low boost, you can adjust form the controller the debit, they work well and offer a lot of scalability... 2x0.9 is the most common option

lol.... you might just be right Mike hahaha. not sure though...it does say 6 on the bottom of the nozzle which also could be mistaken for a 9. I guess it is a good thing howerton engineering called me back to let me know my order was recieved to late to ship. Which ones should i get TTboost??

AFTER studying this alot, and taking my knowledge from the Supra world as well, I find the 911 world is just getting into meth and is in the beginning stages hence why they run such small nozzles.

It is not uncommon in the Supra World for a car to run 122mph on pump in the 1\4 and with meth 135++!! They dyno 500rwhp and then pick up over 100-200whp on meth!!!!! In the 911 world most tuners would make a max of 30-50 and say that is the max of the benefits of the meth!! The difference is the amount of meth they run and the person experience tuning with meth....... the moral of the story run at lease two 1.1mm's!

I had two 1.2mm in my 996 set up, but the car was written off two days before I was supposed to trailer it down to EPL for a tune!!!

I seem to recall putting 1's in originally, but then swapped out to .9's. My car picked up about 75-80whp and made about 600whp on EPL's dyno with that setup. No WAY that would happen with .6's. I only picked up about 5-8mph with meth...and we were tuned on the aggressive side...If I had a fuel system, I would have stuck with the 1's and cranked it up.

There's a big safety difference in tuning FOR meth, vs tuning WITH meth. If it's a tune heavily relying on the meth, and anything goes wrong (even with failsafes) it can be bad news bears. When tuning with it as a aid, you can get great benefits without taking much risk in a failure.

I ended up getting the .9's ,new tubing and the new style compression couplers. Thanks TTboost for the help!! I ordered them from howerton. FedEx Overnight with Saturday delivery guaranteed by 12:00. They arrived exactly at 11:59 , woah. Rep points for FedEx lol. I'd like to try larger nozzles on the dyno along with the ams wastegates I just recently got. I'd also like to get a larger intank fuel pump then bring it back to epl at some point real soon.

I think you should do a COMPLETE fuel system before you do ANYTHING else. You do not have enough fuel for 1 more HP. Just my opinion...
