I love a happy ending. This KINDA happened to me years ago...WAY before onboard cameras... It was the first time I put a big block in my Chevy truck. Brought it down to the local exhaust specialists. On my way down to pick it up when it was done, I watched it rip past me broiling the tires off the rims....needless to say when he got back from his "test drive" (because you have to test drive a new exhaust you know) I got a free exhaust system....Didn't hesitate to tell EVERYONE that story...

 

Mish Mish- Regarding the dash cam you have- how quickly does the memory fill up on the memory card?

After watching the video I too bought this dash cam. However, am I an idiot or is this the worst designed suction cup mount? How the hell do I keep the thing attached?

 

If you look at the round hard part of the plastic you will see the words "lock/unlock". Grab the part with the lines on it with one hand and then the body with the other hand and twist! It is, however a lousy mount and I totally hate it (the mount). Camera is pretty cool even though I haven't had time to totally figure it out

 

I agree, these suctions suck on all of them, eventually it will start to come off, so on my dad's camera (the oldest), I glued suction to windshield with upholstery glue.

Video looks good. How much time can you record without adding extra memory?

 

Almost none, you have to insert your own class 10 microSD. 32GB gets you 16 hour cycle in HD. you can space it out in 1/3/5 min clips.

 

Hmm I think I tried something like that. I guess I'll have to try again. The time the suction did stick it was kinda neat. Though the audio is easily overloaded as mish mish mentioned.
