I'm not sure about the better fitting in the cramped location thing. If you look at the size in comparison to the Baileys, the Forge is actually much bulkier especially at the top portion where the space is most limited. Also the 360 degree swivel looks like another weak area for the O ring to fail.

I purchased the Forge Piston style diverter valves about three years ago. The pistons as they originally came had a red grease lube. I have NOT re-lubed them since and they seem to be working fine. I am also not aware of a need to re-lube them or at least it wasn't mentioned at the time.
