Another Diverter Valve Option...

Champion Motorsport and Forge Motorsport have worked together to come up with a diverter valve that will better fit the cramped engine compartment of your 996 twin turbo and Cayenne twin turbo.

This new valve does not require maintenance (re-greasing) like the aluminum piston style valves. The valve uses a design similar to Forge's DVR Fast Response valves which utilizes a diaphram. This new valve, however, does not use a rubber diaphram. It utilizes a composite material which holds up better in higher boost situations. The vacuum port is located on the side of the valve to help save space and it is also adjustable to better help ease of installation.

The valves are available for purchase either through Champion Motorsport or any of Champion Motorsport's Dealers.

Price: $150.00 US

I didn't know the Bailey DV's or EVO DV's needed to be re-greased! Do they??? If so, how often?

i was about to buy diverter valves for my new ride.

i don't have the effort right now to spend hours reviewing the pros/cons of each diverter valve so could someone please just tell me which ones to buy??? please???

stock 996tt with possible future upgrades including but not limited to: exhaust, DME reprogramming and diverter valves

sounds like they are starting to make them like the Baileys. the Bailey are maintenance free and use a delrin valve. Forges were a PITA as they always required a maintenance lube or they would become stuck.

I've have used Bailey's on 3 different turbo cars and have never had a problem, also guaranteed for life.

Contact AWE they are a board sponsor. They stock BAiley DV's for the 996tt with the 90 degree fitting.

I have been running Bailey DVs for almost 3 years? Something like that. They seem to be holding boost just fine.

Hmmmm. GoFast posts a thread to promote a new DV and the discussion gets diverted to the Bailey (...pun intended).
