Smile 2005 911 Turbo S

I have a 2005 Turbo S and as far as I know is stock. Just got it 2 months ago. I have searched the post for what the stock boost pressure is for a S model but have not found one. So want to ask what it shoud be? I see 1.2 bar on the guage with my car and the car runs great and dosnt throw any error codes. I 1.2 bar normal? Also is it obvious when the porsche dealer hooks up to the computer when you have a tune? Or do you have to look for it? Attached is the required picture.

Stock max boost is .9+/-.1...so unless you are just seeing a spike, you are flashed and yes any dealer with a PIWIS will be able to detect the flash.

Yes it says solid at 1.2 bar so I dont think its a spike. Has been to 1.2 many times. Would a flash void a CPO warrenty? It has been to the P dealer already for other things but then never mentioned anything that it may have been flashed. When I bought the car I didn't know as I was told it was stock but I'll bet the delar didnt know either.

I wouldn't mention it until warranty runs out if you are covered CPO etc.

Be careful with that tune. You're just about out of fuel at 1.2bar- If you accidentally put in 89 or drive too hard in higher altitudes it could damage your engine. Our ECU's are pretty good at keeping the engine safe, but its not fool proof!

Good luck!

Thanks for the replys. When I first drove the car and put my foot in it in 2nd and the PSM kicked in due to wheel spin I was just thinking it was just the way a regular TT S ran. Should have known then but didn't think anything of it. Sure is a hard pulling car. 2 days ago I had some fun with a M5 and left him eating my tire dust. Is there any way to find out what the tune or tuner is by pluging in a durametric? I always put in 93 as it's easy to get in the east.

i had a new m5 for breakfast once in my x50! cheers!

..but without some known history? or looking for markings/sticker on the ecu like fvd/evo et al ( which ain't like lookin in the glovebox or the bonnet sticker! ) it may remain a mystery tune. but a tune, it is. enjoy it.

It's because you picked the right color. Speed Yellow, you know. It's been scientifically proven to be the fastest color out there. Fact.

And you might have tune in there, too.

Welcome to the fam and enjoy your new car!
