I have the Upsolute. Runs great. No CEL and I'm getting 1.2 bar easily.

hkdude, how many miles have you run with the Upsolute?

I am looking for those with an Upsolute chip + long term usage/many miles.

What are the long term effects? Who has the most miles on their Upsolute'd TT?

Is the Upsolute better then the GIAC? Where in SoCal is a good shop that deals them?

25K on the car, 20K with the UpSolute.
I've had my MAF sensor replaced twice because of CELs but no CELs because of the UpSolute. I am completely happy with the chip.

I have a tough time trusting it, or any chip. My car runs so good right now. I'd hate to screw up it's reliability for .1-2 more bar. However, it would be more fun.

It is absolutely 100% reliable. Ran it for ~1.5 yrs. 455rwhp 505rwtq with just Upsolute and exhaust on the K16s. IMO, best bang-for-buck mod you'll ever spend for the Turbo.

That's about right. There should be a SHORT spike to .8 bar (for about 300rpm) where it will drop off to .7bar...fall to .6 bar and then raise to .7 bar as it hits around 6000rpm or so. This is the on the stock K-16 turbo setup with a 6spd.

I get 0.9 bar on my car, 0.8 consistently. It is a stock 02 TT.
