Personally I would get coilovers since there are known models out there that make substantial improvements. When I had my 996tt I put on bilsteins pss9 and it completely changed the car. The car was obviously lower and looked better. The handling became more neutral (compared to understeer before). The car felt more planted and capable of putting more power down.

I will say I know some people that have had a lot of different suspensions on their 996 turbos and they love KWs.

depends, For me? I would love to get rid of this 4x4 look, rear looks ok but front sits higher and I hate gaps. You could go with just springs h&r's 1 inch drop but the thing is OEM shocks are old. and buying new set of shocks, you add a bit more money and you can get coilovers (pss9's are fine for street use and i loved them on my M3 )

Several weeks ago I had PS10's installed on my 996 turbo and it definitely transformed the car. It was highly recommended, especially for the street with some light track use.
My car was dropped about 1" and it is definitely my favorite mod.

How are the JRZ's? I hear they a porsche specialist and these are truly amazing. More for track but usable on the street.

I have H&R springs on original suspension (45k miles). I don't track the car, nor do I ever really drive much over 7/10ths so it's not bad for my use. Rides nicely IMO.

I've been very happy with my Pss 10's. Lowered the car and it is really planted. The new Michelin's help as well.

Nice. Stock shocks? Do you have part number for the springs. I think adding 10mm spacers it would look amazing
