The BIG fix, etc.
My car has been in the shop for some upgrades, fixes, and preventative maintenance. Here is the list in no particular order:
Coolant pipe fix
Expansion tank
Water pump
Check valves (I thought there was only one, but there are two)
Oil pressure sending unit
Metal turbo oil feed lines checked
Waste gate vacuum lines
5 bar fuel pressure regulator
Clutch kit
Slave cylinder (found it was leaking a bit with the engine removal. Bad news/good news)
Pressure accumulator
Spark plugs
Water hoses
Fuel filter
Air filter
Crankshaft seal
Boost pressure test
Wastegate adjust
Endless brake fluid
Coolant
Throttle body seal
Precision Porsche GT2 deck lid (wing painted matte black)
GT2 deck lid wiring harness
Transponder
Coil packs
Solenoid brackets
Engine mounts (RSS)
Trans mount (997 version)
Multi-rib belt
2nd gear detent
So after all this, no more thoughts about blowing a coolant fitting at the track.
Pulls like a freight train again. The shop owner had fun with "test" drives.

The BIG savings was in the labor. Many items my shop did not charge me for installation, since the parts were right there to be easily replaced with the engine out.

re-reading it, that list is a very nice refresh. just wondering if given your track days etc if you have ever refreshed your gearbox. that has been both my tt's achilles heel so to speak

What happened to your gear boxes?

not tryin to jinx ya
1st car had 2nd gear pop. current car needed bearings as it has seen its share of track days. thrust/pinion bearings + enough heat cycles = eventually.
