335 toyo r888
I suspected that was drag racing lingo but unfortunately that is not anything I know about. Never even seen a drag strip in my life except on TV. Lol. I know how the tires perform on a road course and drove them in a limited capacity on the street so I know they are reasonably quiet. Have probably gone through 15 sets on the track so I know how they perform there. Nitto makes some drag radials in a 305/35/18 which might be more of what he's looking for. The NT01 is a road course tire...
No, not Drag racing. But forward acceleration with a heavy throttle (eg exit ramps, highway pulls, etc.). I do lose traction with R888's, but rarely. Few drivers will track their cars. Most are street driven and that's where I'm interested to know what tire is better. I have both, but the NTo1's were fairly worn when I added the power. The R88's are horrid in the rain BTW.

I ended up with r888 again. Maybe I'll try the nt01 next time.
Tire shop couldn't get anything originally, then I called another one and they could. Weird, they were both discount tire.
