335 toyo r888
Here is a pic of my 335/30 r888 on my rear wheel.
I was told they are 18x12 wheels. I know it's a haphazard guess but is there a chance the wheels are wider? I'd prefer to go to a 315/30 tire.

That's how my 335/30/18s look on my 12" wheels, 315s should fit fine
Spoke with 2 people at toyo last week - they have discontinued the 315/30/18 size. Tirerack were delivered the last of them.
Yep - my discount tire called toyo direct, and then called back to check with someone else who said "last 10 were delivered to tirerack" - he then ordered them online from tirerack for me last Thursday.
I was kinda shocked too.

Well crap. My guy said he couldn't order any until Tuesday. Something with his system...
I've often thought about selling my forgeline line wheels and going back to an 11 in the rear so I can run more options.
I think I only got like 5000 ish miles out of my rears. I was rwd for a good part of it. I'm thinking about going back awd too.

245/40/18 and 305/35/18 on 9/12" wheels. Both run wide. Killer combo for RWD. If AWD, you're stuck with the shorter 315/30/18.
NT01s actually make decent street tires. They are reasonably quiet, much quieter than 888s and are decent in the wet if full tread. On track, NT01s are better hands down than 888s. NT01s are slippery the first 4 sessions and then solid all the way to the cords. 888s start to go downhill after 15 cycles or so. I normally get about 30 cycles (550-600 track miles) on a set of NT01s. They wear like iron. For comparison, I only get about 250miles on a set of Kumho V710s which is a faster tire though. I don't do enough street driving to know about street mile usage. It all depends how aggressive you drive but my guess is that they would outlast 888s on the street since they outlast them on the track.

What about in high HP applications? Not digs, but full throttle exit speed or brake boosting?
