I think everyone is saying to put the fans at the back of the car, near the intercooler 'exits' because the distance (to the intercooler fins) is much much shorter than the distance the air had to travel in your video... In your video, you are pushing air a few feet through the (open) air, then into the inlet-ducting of your car, it has to travel up over the wheel-well and down through the intercoolers... that's a hike for what is really some relatively 'uncontrolled' airflow...
