My dad NEEDS a car, can anyone help??
Sorry for the somwhat offtopic post, but not enough traffic in OT area...
Ok guys, we have had 2 cars (mine and escalade) for about a month now and my dad NEEDS a car... We have been trying to find one of the cars listed below with no luck on either color, price, or options.... We need 3 cars and the TT cab doesn't come in until Feb./March so that won't work...
Does anyone have a connection for a:
2002-2004 Ferrari 360 Spyder (no modena's)(red, yellow, or silver)
2003-2004 MB E55 AMG(white or black)
2004 Lambo. Gallardo(open to colors)
2003-2004 Lambo Murci.(open to colors)
Thanks guys, I figure someone here has to have a connection for one of these

My Renntech CLK 60 is for sale. One of a kind, 6 liter motor, 6 speed manual. Front cover of April 2000 Motor Trend. Then again, you wouldn't want your dad embarassing you in straight line acceleration.

Evan,
I don't believe dad's ever change or at least not for a long time. You will just have to age a little bit more to understand. I'm fifty-two years old and and my dad has just recently given up on exotic high performance cars. Up until then I was always being one up'ed.

Evan, Thats some range, from $70k to 280k, from an E55 as an everyday ride to a Monster Murcielago.

All the cars you listed, you can get immediately. Maybe a price range would narrow our search.
Murci: Tons of people have them, they are not that hot. You can get a used '02 for 220 Check Lamborghini Dallas, and Manhattan Motorcars (they usually have a large inventory)
Gallardo: Gallardo prices are ridicules, don’t get one, it is not worth it.
360 Spyder: Going for 180 - 230, I know that Newport Autosport has troubles selling their yellow Modenas (you can get a "good deal" on a yellow one)
E55: They are only going for 5 over, I am sure if you look around you will find one at MSRP. When I got my CLK, I realized that big dealers charge big bucks over MSRP on hot cars. Try calling dealers in small cities or try calling dealers in cities going through a depression. I think that any dealer in San Jose will probably have a bunch of people canceling their orders.

Murci:Yes but 220 is a bit much for one...my dad knows the bizz so its hard for him to feel like he is getting a "good deal"
Gallardo:yea basically gave up...thought someone on here might know of someone willing to give it up for sticker or a SMALL premium
360:My dad would pay prob 200K for an 02 with the right miles and options, but can't find one
E55:yes 5k is fine and he will pay that, but has called almost every dealer in the country and cannot find one that is either unsold or the right color/optioned car...

Here is one, looks like a really good deal

Do you need NAV on the E55, if so, it will be tough getting one because only the '04s have them.

Check the Classifieds in AutoWeek.
03 (I think) Murci, 245k; lots of E55's, RS6's, etc.
I also know a broker that can supposedly pull rabbits from a hat, but I doubt there will be much of a deal there.

Think again. Car sales are hotter than ever here. Home prices also keep going up, go figure!
