May be it will come in a kit, but you know now, this tool can be very useful! Is your clutch stock? If it is stock you can found the minimum wear measurement at page 685 of the repair manual….

Forgot to mention the alignment tool for the clutch disk, I got mine for les than $10.00

i had to re-attempt the re-install all for that shift fork alignment. was a bit*ch to align by hand 3 trys did it lol

No it's not stock. I'm 95% sure, it's stock flywheel and clutchmasters old stage 3.
There's another benefit to doing it myself... Make sure I know what's there can help me choose my next clutch.

i have a maxjax and it has 2 height settings. the first is approx 24" high. i bought this lift and bolted a couple 4x4 onto the base. it works like a charm!

Couple considerations:
1) Don't forget you'll need a jack or some strategy to support the nose of the motor while doing this job
2) You'll need triple square bits for the pressure plate and flywheel bolts.

With the $830 you save, consider the GT2 conversion.
What clutch you using? I did a SRE performance clutch, sachs release bearing, shipped from germany for 1086.75 euros. (funny I was in Germany for a bit, an hour away from them, and it was US$300 cheaper to ship it (no vat)) About US$1400 total

Not sure yet. Technically I'll save labor on the rms and bigger turbo inlets.

I've got the trans jack, carlift, support the motor and the flywheel triple square sockets...
Anything else "special" I'll get a clutch alignment tool too
Goal is to drop the tranny this weekend and inspect what is in there.
