My New GT3 Pics
My New GT3 Pics
I finally took a quick picture of my new GT3. I still only have 170 miles on it, so I have a while to go before it is broken in.
Anybody know how to take the stickers off the back of the sport seats? I really hate paying over a $1000 for painted seat backs to have a big yellow sticker on the center of them.

Congrats Tony!!! Nice Car.
Here's how to remove the stickers from the seat backs. Worked greta for me...
Use a blow drier to heat up the stickers while at the same time using a plastic credit card slowly working the stickers off from the edges. Probably takes 10 -15 minutes for each sticker. Any residual stciker adhesive can be removed with 3M adhesive remover.
You will probably want to remove the airbag warning stickers on the underside of the sun visor. If they are the vinyl ones, they can be rubbed off with a cloth using denatured rubbing alcohol. It takes some patience and elbow grease, but they will come off. Once off, you will see a noticeable outline of where the sticker was. I found that using kiwi black paste show polish, rubbing it on the area, letting it dry, then buffing made the outline spots disappear(Do a few applications). The black shoe polish obviously applies to black interiors...I have yet to remove the stickers on the vanity mirror side of the visor. I understand that it is a similar process. A project for another day.
Other idea's for future projects...Tech Equip. roll bar and GT3 seats. I just finished that project myself last night. The seats are easy...Roll bar, not so easy.
Best of luck with the new car.
