Dumping the exhaust out? Post some sound clips of the wastegates open when you have it running please!
The original plan was to have the gates just dump normally. At the last minute I decided to update my exhaust to UC's x-pipe w/ quad mufflers, so we'll also be routing the wastage dumps through the outer tips. Plenty of sound clips and dyno vids to come.
We're in the home stretch right now, fuel system is done, motor is back in, headers are out for ceramic coating, and the exhaust is a few days from completion. I believe the clutch + GT2 slave conversion is underway too. I'm so excited to have the car back that I'm going through all the pictures I've been sent at least once a day
Starting with an X50 car I went with K24/20s. I drive the car as often as possible, so it was the perfect balance of a boost in power, driveability, and reliability. In the future I may step up, but from what I've seen these turbos have a lot of potential with the right supporting mods
Headers came back from ceramic coating yesterday and were bolted to the car this morning. Some minor things to button up once the shop is back from a quick holiday break and we should be ready to rock
