ok, got it. still confused then. i'll keep reading
without derailing dscoffs thread the diverters serve the same purpose as the bov's. there is a need to release the pressure off the system when shifting or slowing i.e.: releasing the gas pedal. diverters reroute the pressurized air back into the intake track to help force air into the turbos( and are quieter) and bov release the air to the atmosphere (pssssh you here on modded cars) diverters require the oem style intake to work and bov will allow more varied intakes to be fabbed. bov have been installed on the i/c and mostly on the y pipe. single and double bov can used.
hope this helps now back to scoffs posting more YELLOW TURBO PICS!
it also allows for more boosting in the future whether on his current turbos or if he decides to change out to bigger.
Couldn't have said it better, I started with an X50 car so going to K24/20s was the most economical option. I want to fully explore the limits of these turbos first and then I "may" upgrade to Alpha 30s or PTEs

Cool, thanks guys. Good luck and interested to see the results!
The exhaust is now 100% done and mounted on the car. The y-pipe will finish test fitment tomorrow and then its over to the dyno for tuning. The guys over at Fabworx/UC did an amazing job on the fabrication...I wouldn't mind hanging one of these on the wall
Figured while I'm waiting for the car I may as well freshen up the 1 part I'd see/touch the most. Thick padding + alcantara + speed yellow stitching by Exact Art Fabrication
