Y-Pipe keeps popping off
Anyone have any tips for securing the Y-Pipe to the throttle body boot?
It's happened a few times in the last couple of days. Each time I have to take out airbox, remove hoses, reposition and torque down.
Anyone have any tips, what could I be doing wrong?

Yeah, stock TB. I just put it on again and tightened the snot out of it. (Careful not to overtighten so as to squeeze the rubber out around the edge.
I pulled on it quite firmly towards the rear of the car and it's firm. We'll try driving like this and hopefully it works.

I've found if you clean silicone connectors with alcohol before installing them and clean the fitting they're going onto they tend to stick VERY well. I've not ever had to use hairspray but that too is supposed to work very well.
The silicone coupler that attaches the throttle body to the y pipe has grooves in it that fit in the y pipe and tb.
I'm surprised it's popping off. Do you have an aftermarket silicone coupler?

Should be 3 bolts, but either way should probably be fine with 2 assuming the brackets aren't bent out
