attn high hp socal Turbos

I'm looking for any 600~800 hp Turbos to meet up with. My Turbo has gone through an update that has netted surprising results, and I'd like to do a "relative comparison." Just want to do a couple safe pulls on the hwy to see where I'm at. Shoot me a PM. Thanks! (Craig, is your beast avail?)

Hey Chris. Alex's turbo is on a totally different level... trust me, I've no illusions of what Alex's Turbo is capable of!

Although both cars have now gone under the same surgeon's scaple, the mechanical setup is completely different, plus, I'm dialed in for 91 oct @ 1.2BAR... my car was previously on par with Evo's IV setup, and with the surprising results of my latest update, I just want to see what she can do now. My butt dyno isn't very sensitive... probably couldn't tell a 25rwhp dif in a 600hp car. However, while I definitely feel a difference at the top end (slightly better top end), the mid-range torque swell is much improved.

Hey, we've all got our own demons to fight... lol...

You know how it is with cars... you either keep changing or keep modding... and I couldn't just sit idle and wait for my car to sell... this latest update has really netted surprising results, and my love has been rekinddled... once again... for now...

Todd K. @ Protomotive tuned my ECU, and I am very impressed at the difference it made, with nothing else changed but programming and addition of adjustable fpr at 5BAR. Turbos are still Kevin's Stage II billet/ported/coated. Top end is improved, but midrange is, as Kevin likes to say, in raped-ape territory.

Kevin is a super nice guy and incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to Porsches and Motronic, and I am very impressed at the results. My setup was never meant for peak hp, rather, aggresive spoolup and broad powerband. While there is a moderate increase in peak HP, the power, response, and driveability throughout the entire rev-range feels even more alive than it previously did, which already wasn't a slouch. Let's put it this way.... at the midrange, it feels like a different car altogether.

Would love to see a battle of high-speed turbos. Any new news on the Texas Speedway meet?

BTW, just to be clear, this is not a "callout" or "battle"... I know what my car ran like before, and just looking to see what it runs now via relative comparison. I'm not part of the high hp club like the Alex's or Craig... just want to do a couple of pulls...

So you're officially keeping it?

Nothing's ever official... I'll be keeping it until it's sold, lol. I actually had a pretty serious offer fall through after a couple weeks. So, I decided to mod it some more.

it's one of those things where I really should sell it to fulfill other business needs, but on the other hand, I'm simply having too much fun with the car... so, I'm not pushing hard to sell it now, but it's available...
