went to champion today....

besides seing 10 carrera GTs, yes 10...

i saw a turbo S cab with champions version of the f110s. Sup[posedly they are the same dimensions as the f110s (width, diameter, weight, and offset). I was really psyched to get these wheels for the gt2, but today i realized that the did not fit properly at all! what gives...

the rear wheels were literally sunken in about 3 inches. do you think maybe he put a narrowbody rear wheel on the turbo? The front and rear were staggered, and the rear were definitely larger, running a 315 tire, but the offsets were WAY off. anyone know what is wrong?

on another note, i saw two individual "paint-to-sample" gts. One was the zanzibar red one htat has been posted on here before. the other one was an off-white color. I think the sticker said something like "nach something". any idea what it was? it was a greyish white. At first i thought it was really nasty. Now im starting to think it was kinda cool. Damn, its true CGTs really look good in ANY color.

ahha the main idea of the post was to figure out what was wrong with the wheels.... hahah

it was pretty cool.. they were trying to get all the cars into the service are to prepare for hurricane wilma. there must ahve been 100 p-cars (mostly turbos, gt3s and CGTs) parked within 6 inches of each other. It was amazing.. Too bad I didnt have a camera...

I think that the wheels are in 997 offsets and that's why they need spacers, at least, to look good.
