900-1000 RWHP what will go on the Tranny?

IM building a 900 -1000Rwhp car, I'm doing the wavetrac Diff and Erp triple disk clutch. Other than obviously axels, what else might give quickly on the Tranny?

3rd gear depending on how hard u abuse it like power shifting.I know two people who tried the wavetrac diff a couple of years ago and launch hard with it and broke it.Like i said that was a few years ago and not sure if they have improved them since.

are you sure it was the wavetrac and not the carbonetics diff? i know prodigy broke a carbonetics. the wavetrac is warranted for up to 1000 hp

only to add that the wavetrac has and makes a fairly big deal of their "lifetime warranty". 900/1000 is asking a lot of any part, least of all drivetrain stuff.

Where and how much for a 3rd gear? Now that everything is down I might as well address the first few weakest links. Don't really want to spend 12-15k on the Tranny now, I have enough going into the car now as it is.

I just bought a built transmission by G box. I went with the os-giken LSD, gt2rs mainshaft, gt2rs 1,2,3,4 gears.. It's a lot of money, but definitely worth it.. From what I was reading 700 W HP is the breaking point on the stock transmission

Thanks man..
You build is going to be badass...
Regardless if your transmission breaks on you.. From what I was told you wouldn't damage the actual transmission itself.. Just the gearings and mainshaft.. So if it happens to fail the parts that brake are going to have to replaced in order to have a built tranny..

can hardly find fault with that decision. i'm not sure anyone that knows anything could argue a guard isn't the way to go for SERIOUS builds. but for anything else, or normal de's/ occasionally tracking or insane daily stuff, the wavetrac is not only hard to beat ( up ) but also enough for the vast majority of 600+/- cars.

in fact, i'm not sure how anyone can abide this car without an lsd ( of some type ) or running open diff. if i were going 800+ it'd be a custom built ( and certainly plate type ) guard for sure.
