Living in a dream world......996 turbos are probably one of the slower cars at that event.....as crazy as that may be, just a reality.
GTR's and Lambos are just too fast and faster shifting. Everything there on average is probably 1500+, not one 996 there has that much power or shifting quickness.
@Cobb: Clean start at 85mph? Every other pass was in the 160's. Still fast. But there's no way it would trap at 180 unless it was starting well above the 70 mark.

First day we had an issue we were trying to track down on the car and it was doing 160s till we sorted out the issue. Turned the boost up yesterday and it went 176 or 178 (I don't remember). I will grab the slip and post it, should have some time since we can't race today Haha.
Kong and BHT are very similar in speeds. But since you qualified in sport class (BHT in Super Sport) because of your low qualifying speeds, how did you trap that speed and not get DQ immediately? The cut off was high 160's for the slower bracket. Kongs 997 was in the sport bracket as well.
Because of the issues we had that is where we were put. It wasn't the right class for the car, so he just didn't break out while racing the second day. In the test and tunes we would run to see what the car could do.
