for our buddy here with the new coils, i'm confident the gt3 bar at least for the rear is a must have for anyone that drives as the three of us do. its a simple replacement. no fiddling. just use hole #3 of 4.

the fronts wont take the gt3 bar without some mods owing to the front diff iirc.

but the difference of the anti sway properties of the stiffer bar is dramatic, and you'll wonder why you waited to do it. should go on NOW with the new coils.

gmg racing makes sway bars for the front and rear of the turbo that have 3 way adjustment

I will be getting new Sway(s) but the question is , which ones do I get?

Just GT3 rears, Eibach, GMG or FVD?

I do plan on tracking the car maybe 3 to 4 times a year

i guess you could narrow it down based on cost, adjustability and thickness. my car came with tons of gmg parts on it to the tune of about 17,000$ !! the sways are 3 way adjustable

whenever possible go oem. i learned that from the hound, as well as personal experience.

but of course, sometimes porsche doesn't make the parts we want and they still ( the aftermarket part ) might be an *improvement* over the original design or help to increase power/performance. remember that *stock*, this was a fairly staid gt car capable of 190+ on the autobahn,.. or as a swift grocery getter.

but as far as sways are concerned, the gt3 rear bar is all you need. that doesn't mean though that the gmg bars or h&r/eibach or another, wont work. just stay with success, all else being equal

add: btw the gmg are actually made by eibach. important to note!

Well, the final piece to puzzle has been discovered.

I extended the rear drop links by 25mm longer than OEM .
Drove it through the hills this morning, Let me just say this THE CAR IS BACK BETTER THAN EVER !! It feels rock solid and its only on 6 rear and 5 front damper settings. The rear end wobbliness has gone, it feels like you cant budge it at any speed with super flat cornering.

This has now exceeded my expectations by a long long shot. I really dont think that I need any sway bar upgrades. Its amazing how just that 25mm adjustment along with the correct heights has made all the difference.

I am now extremely satisfied with my PSS10's.

Thanks to everyone who has been patient with me and helped me through this maze.

You know my disdain for aftermarket parts. Get the OEM GT3 4-way rear bar and call it a day. Same bar is used on 996cups, it's very good. For your use its all you need and you can rest easy knowing its oem and you won't have any surprises. If you get it, make sure to buy the correct bushings for it as they are different than the TT ones. It'll give you that extra level of fine tuning that you'll appreciate when you take the car to the track and start exploring its limits. The front GT3 5-way bar is great but does not work on cars with the front drive shafts in place.

Thank you and l'll definitely look into it but right now my car is handling extremely well. Night and day compared to before the recent adjustments.

Any good places to pick up a GT3 rear bar for a decent price?

I see people buy useless "upgrades" for their car all the time but the gt3 bar is a no brainer. You can always get your money back out of it if you ever resell your car and put the stock bar back on.

where you'll *most* notice the absence of a stiffer rear bar vs the thinner oem bar most dramatically, is that the absence of a rear sway with the added plant of the coils is that your rear end wont be as stiff which will result in increased body roll/sway/lean/wander and general instability etc. unless you're driving like a small cat. which you're ( better! ) not

you'll need this ( rear) bar. trust us. the rear weight bias will make this more evident than ever. don't let your wife and kids blame us! you started down the slope buddy, the only thing btw the slope and your azz, is your wallet lol. sorry pal !

Very very stable now, l was trying hard to shake it loose but stuck like peanut butter on toast.
The seeds been planted and yes all of you are in trouble by the misses.

Jimbo the eibach are fine and are 3 position adjustable it is what i have i think they would be sufficient for your 3 or 4 track days a year.
