HI fellas, clutch is in! Wow is all I can say! Simple designs from Porsche = major technical challenges! Pivot shaft is a total pain. Porsche should have made an access panel on bell housing. I have installed my coil packs and plugs and will be starting my Wagner IC install with new hoses tonight. I started to look at removing my turbos and putting in the Sambo K16 billets but the oil lines are really tight and the line tries to move with the nut. Since I have a track day next week I aborted - better safe than sorry! Special thanks to NTIMD8 for the tips!Name: image-208685266.jpg

looking good! good luck, I'm sure it was pain in the rear - anything that is factory or super-tight, i hate touching it to prevent any damages

spray the lines down heavy with spray lube. then wait a day. then order new lines. chances are better that they will twist and collapse than they will come off.

Hope all goes well, I had to replace half of my oil lines and a couple studs.

Also had a heck of a time trying to get the passenger side hose lined up properly with my wagners.

Definitely have some cold beer on hand

my wagners were not a direct fit...had to use different tabs instead of supplied ones

Guys thanks for the advice! ICs are in after 6 hours with my wife's help - great helper! Wagners are a tough puzzle to solve. First, the instructions are vague at best. Removing the lips in the ducting is tedious. I reused the clips along with heavy duty zip ties for added support. The bracket/frame the ICs and ducting are supported in is a pain. I learned the hard way to not bit bend any of it. After we fitted and removed the bumper for adjustments 3 times we got it fitted perfectly. On the other hand, where did Porsche find the engineer that designed the fuel filter assembly? I could punch him in the mouth! Such a ridiculous design! I bet some techs could tell him a few things too! Ok so the first drive....WOW! New packs, plugs, clutch, fuel filter, and ICs with hoses. It just wanted to run! I can't wait to get my turbos in over the next few weeks. Another 100 hp will be amazing!

my tuner has changed my idea of plugs from iridium to common inexpensive copper plugs. they are the best conductor of electricity and cost approx 18$ change them every oil change.

If you DON'T have replacements on hand, Murphy's law will come into full force and the existing lines will sustain terminal damage.
If you DO have replacements on hand, it's better than 50/50 they'll come off fine.

My personal favorite release agent is PB Blaster. Lots and lots of BP Blaster coupled with lots and lots of patience.

Good Luck!!!
