DIY Urethane engine mounts

Does anyone have DIY information on converting OEM engine mounts? I see at least one company does this conversion. It sounds like it involves removal of the fluid, clean, and fill with 80-90 durometer A urethane.

Wondering if anyone can share a process and material?

Thanks

did this type of stuff on my mercedes. basically drilled the mount and drain the fluid. clean with thinner and dry. using window weld squeeze into the mount until its full. takes a couple days to fully cure and reinstall.
if you search the trans mount threads theres also threads doing the trans mount with window weld. any home depot has it in the caulking aisle

How is it with vibration/noise? I was thinking about poly mounts but saw in the other thread that it hurts driveability.

Mounts

Thanks 32krazy for the comments..

I did find another post where someone had successfully filled the OEM units, and also indicated good results over the next few months of driving. They did not specify what compound was used or any difficulties.

It seems like this would be a very easy DIY and just wondering why more have not tried it to save the $$ for other mods.

most w/w is 74 durometer. i use the torque solutions mainly because i needed the lower profile of the mounts for my larger y pipe.
