My car hates me, or not
I don't think it hates me, it wants to be driven hard! WOT on every open road with no traffic of course, and safe to push the car at 6am in the morning. ones A week i take the car out to see my family 100miles road trip, Car gave me few warnings, things that are really hard to explain- for example after buying the car i found some aluminium shavings inside the oil filter, maybe plastic, i dont know, few people told me not to be worried few people just saying you need to open up the motor, well I decided to wait and go for 300-400 miles and look at the filter again, it was nothing showing not 1 thing inside the filter, after several oil changes, it is clean as butter and shows no oil burn and no shavings, nothing, well I had some coolant leak, a little bit form the front, and rear, strange right? not really- well I did pressure test. no leak from anywhere, i dont see leak from anywhere and its dry everywhere- car pulls like hell, and nothing is wrong with it (knock on wood) sure i replaced the accumulator and fixed minor things but what do you expect if the car is 10+ years old. (lets not forget, I really dont know who was the first owner, i bought the car with a missfire and slipping clutch) second owner didnt do Crap! or cared, after 996 got the right owner who cares and gives a bath ones a in a while...and check all fluid levels.....
I just want to say that, no matter what, its been a good! damn year, tune and exhaust itself makes me smile and waking up at 6-7am sat morning and taking the car out on sunny days, its just amazing, cold-start and rumbling from the exhaust. ones i find some spare time, going to install coilovers and i wish to hunt for some 18" aftermarket wheels with fat rubber....ok i need another coffee, sorry for just spitting the wall of text guys ---<

A full exhaust would really wake the car up!! Better sound, more performance and less weight you can't go wrong!!

That is true, stock system weights a lot plus i removed the motor from rear deck lid/spoiler since mine was dead/leaking... I'm going with non adjustable one anyways and i like the sleeper look too : hunting for some CCW wheels, as well. I want techart sideskirts and front bumper next.

I wanted 911 since late 90's, posters on my wall when I was a kid, 911 was my favorite car, when i visited chicago auto show my jaw dropped and my eyes just start watering and gave me goose bumps after checking silver 996 turbo, , I grabbed the poster which, I framed and up to this day hangs in my parents garage, thats where I work on the car and have all the tools for tweaking the beast. I always wanted black color. my theme is black on black.

I think 911s love to be abused, car is pretty much track ready- I cannot describe how much I enjoy the car. my goal will be to reach 600 maybe 650 max, and replace the snails. I drive my car rain/snow/sun, I enjoy every bit of it. I owned many cars before. This one is a keeper. Its legend.
