SpeedTech is great. I'm happy to utilize their exhausts on our Porsche builds.

 

Sounds great! Doesn't really sound like it bothered you guys in the cabin...and I noticed the mic is pretty sensitive when you pulled the ebrake. Love the reaction of the passengers when you mashed it a bit.

This exhaust is the version with just the "X" and no mufflers right? Did you get cats or catless? Any other mods on the car?

I have a brand new speedtech excellerator 2.5 with no cats sitting in the box still...haven't had time to install it yet. I'm really excited to get it on there now!

 

Thank you for the kind words. Yes, this is the X-pipe only with no mufflers. I went with the 100 Cell race cats. Only other mods are upgraded DVs, reflash and a Sachs Stage II clutch. This car isn't my daily so the fact that it is loud doesn't bother me because it makes driving it feel like even more of an occasion. The system has some drone to me between 2000-2600, but after that it is pure auditory bliss! The 2.5" system is reported to be virtually drone free while bringing the volume down a couple of notches. Hope you don't have the same issue as I did getting the old exhaust nuts off haha! Let us know how the it sounds when you get it on there. Thanks for watching.
