650 awhp...997.1 or 996?
650hp - flywheel or at wheels.. Either can be done (I'm having a awe 750 HP package installed right now on 997.1)
996 vs 997 - in my opinion its all about looks and some features. The round headlights sold me on the 997.

English enough. I prefer 996 - sure rear taillights are huge compare to 997 and headlamps, you can always install covers for the front, I did. It looks perfect. I prefer 996 has more square look and i love the front bumper on 996s. Later on I'm going to install Techart side skirts and front bumper.

Priceless? You are a clown. No I usually keep my cars for 2-3 years and go onto the next project. UGR Lambo or High HP GTR......
Don't sell the TT I mean
or counting other peoples money. rather than trade insults which drag me to your level, i'll simply ask you to;
abide by forum rules and cease your unprovoked personal attacks? and i'll do my best to ignore your inanities which ultimately result in making you the very thing you accuse of others. i'll assume you never were taught that.

Was shopping 996 prices and ran across yours. Knew from the plate. Had no idea you had so much work done.
I for one like older cars, even for being a DD. The 996 sold me for "less" tech than the 997 and the price is a no brainer. I would say each is equal when it comes to making power. The less mods for the 997 are offset by the cheaper 996 entry point.

I'm going with the 997gt front with the mesh screens ( which I already have out of necessity! ) and the led drl's.
im kinda over my 996 front, to be honest.
Either one will get you there. I don't believe the stock ecu will do e85 and pump 91/92 etc. Protomotive was messing with it several years ago. IIRC the ecu will do one or the other, not both. That's one reason you're reading about guys going with stand alone systems.
