To be fair, having one of these pop and blow a crapton of coolant all over the place can be pretty expensive when you figure in the potential spin out, blown motor, and wrecker ride. If I was in there and had any doubts I'd be tempted for piece of mind...

 

is there a part number for this clip? I may as well do them all.

 

If you go to autoatlanta.com they have good diagrams with part numbers= you can then shop for pricing.

 

Here are the numbers for the big coolant pipes and it is important to note the clips are different size for left and right side.... So far, since I start working of my TT, I saw about 5 different sizes of clips and when remove it is a good thing to mark them to be sure you put the right one in the proper position....

I can't believe the left and right retaining clips are slightly different.
What were they thinking?
I will order a few but mine with the wrong clip is clamped and wire wrapped so well it is not going anywhere.

My engine was out about 6 months ago for a 2.5 clutch kit, injectors, plenum, etc and the Indy mechanic mixed them up...
