Rear Bumper

Hey guys, are there any options for a more aggressive looking rear bumper out there for 996 turbo? I know, why change the bumper it looks fine. I just like to be a little different. Any opinions?

Techart has some spats for it, I've got them. Looks nice but without the skirts it might look weird?

I've seen a 997 gt2 style rear for our cars that doesn't look too bad but not many other options. Same with sides, I've only ever seen the techart and not really a fan, they look glued on like they don't belong there.

I would be a little leery of changing the rear bumper.

As air flows across the openings behind the rear tires, it pulls air through the intercoolers and into the intercooler duct. Basically our intercoolers work off of a pull system and not a push system.

I sometimes question what larger aftermarket wheels/tires do to the airflow in this area.

Later, Steve

There is no real CF diffuser for this car, which kinda sucks, especially when you see how much stuff can be had for the 997.

I believe that TechArt actually tests their stuff so it may not disrupt flow over the coolers and indeed those are the spats I've got and skirts too as well as nose. GT2 style rear deck, silver.

I thought there was a diffuser meant for the later cars that fit ours? Thought someone had mentioned it or was selling one. I really like the CF accents!
