Camshaft Angle/ Camshaft Position Sensor

I am reading out some datalogs (recent) and see I have some differing camshaft bank 1 angle and camshaft bank 2 angles. I am thinking maybe the Camshaft Position Sensor is bung.....

I get no fault codes and when I last drove the car it was giving the old rhythmic tap tap tap of a stuck lifter (or maybe other engine problem).

I am going through the Porsche Repair Manual but cannot find the page where the CP Sensor is discussed..... I know the part nos and where to get it so was thinking for $100 or so I may be able to see if that solves one of my problems before the car goes to Tim

Any help as to the page number

I just paid 50 bucks for a new one. Was about a 30min r&r. Its a small sucker but it sure won't help a stuck lifter. I had a faulty CP's sensor code and first thought it to be a low battery causing it...
Until I replaced the CP's sensor ( duh )

Good luck w the car...the sounds you have been describing sound ominous.

Yeah it is definitely not that and I use my Eurodyne cable to read codes and to datalog and it reads camshaft angles in 1000's so what we thought was a massive difference between bank 1 and bank 2 is actually neglibible and there are zero codes thrown on anything.
