Need suspension advice...

So, the car has 105k miles and I'm eating tires and it feels mushy. I can notice the deflection in the rear. I'm also on a strict budget because the racecar is taking up all the fun funds. It has stock shocks with h&r springs. What is the cheapest path to getting rid of that feeling of the *** wiggle and rear tow issue that chews tires?

Thanks for any advice.

1 set of torque solutions toe links rear, and you're done. though a gt3 sway on mid setting will calm down yer a** wiggle also.

That sounds preventative. I want out of this easy. Motor mounts can wait. Everything everyone says is solid lower control arm bushings, dog bones, ect...I want to know what will fix it the majority of the flex. Not looking to make it a gt3, and I don't want stock crap either

So no solid bushings anywhere? Just toe links? I did notice the sway bar on these cars is the most pathetic thing I've ever seen on a sports car. Lol. It's like a cute little bent toothpick

These?

http://www.ecstuning.com/Porsche-200...sion/Bushings/ I would give it the once over and see what's worn and replace. Sway bars/links will help but you have to have a good base. To each their own.

Had the same annoying situation but was resolved by a well placed pothole over the winter. Replaced toe links and dog bones, fixed the camber... rides sweet now. Front strut mounts were replaced as well but may/may not be part of your issue here.

Thanks! Will these allow me to run less tow due to flex to keep the tires straight under load?

Yes they will allow more adjustability when you get an alignment.

couldn't get your link to work so the first link i found was http://www.amsperformance.com/cart/t...s_por-003.html

really, for what you hope to achieve and save tires for prolonged and more equal tread wear ( the bane of our existence..) i promise you this'll get it done. with a proper alignment, of course.

no solids on a primarily driven street car. can/will adversely affect dental work

...and yeah, ya gotta throw on a gt3 bar at least rear with the toe links. you need nothing additional to run the oem gt3 bar. a good solid mid level ( and what isn't? ) "compromise". it'll work, i promise.

Install solid thrust arm bushings and inner LCA monoball cartridges. Monoball rear toe arms will also help but will give you the least benefit of the items listed. Adjustable toe arms are needed if you can't get toe in spec with the stock arms.

Do what Mark says and get mounts uf u want to stop the flex.

Even at standard 400hp those stock mounts are rubbish when new so im sure u can imagine what they are like after 10+ years

What alignment are you guys running with these? Can you set the tow at zero, or do you still need some positive? Still 1.5ish camber?
