Check for leaky ram, may also be bad/misaligned micro switch.

The GT2 wing he has doesn't have rams or a micro switch.

Unless the harness was swapped he probably has the microswitch taped closed somewhere - I did on mine.

spoiler warning lite

How do you disable with fixed wing? Sorry for not searching haven't figured that out yet on this new garage app. Dealing with the light on has become a way of life for me.

There are wiring harness add ons I see offered by wing/deck lid venders so I would ask around, or the micro switches can be jumped= haven't done it but someone here has and should help you out.

I' also like to know how to defeat the spoiler warning light. I removed the pump / rams and installed a height adjustable mount solution.

There are two micro switches, one for raised and one for down. You want to jumper the one that's indicating the spoiler is UP. If you jumper both the light will come on, ask me how I know! You can simply tape it closed I believe or solder it once you figure out which is which.

Great! Thanks for the tip. When I get back from my work trip I will give it a go.

short one of the microswitches and leave the other one open. I'm not sure if it is consistent across model years, so try one way and if that doesn't work, try the other. On my car, wires going to one switch are grey/blk and the other blue/blk, but I can't remember off the top of my head which one worked.

gray is up, blue is down. Normally bottom pair is closed, or jumpered, with wing down.
