Looks good!!

The PSS10 instruction are very specific to the ride height they need to be set for optimum performance and to prevent bottoming the bump stops. There is only a 5 or 10mm adjustment range if I recall. Stick with what is spelled out in the instructions for proper performance. When properly set PSS10s do not lower you car all that much. Judging by your after pics, you are right in the correct range.

su_maverick's height looks right on the money based on Bilstein specs.

pwdrhound and jimtt are correct. I have been researching coilover options for months (my head is still spinning lol) so I have pretty much all the specs for the sub $3000 coilover options for 996TT (Ohlins R&T, Pss10, H&R Street coilovers , H&R Race coilovers). In fact some time ago I had posted questions about these setups and pwdrhound was the one who enlightened me to the fact that bilstein pss10 have a VERY limited "in spec" height adjustment range.

After all my research I ended up going with H&R Street Coilovers because they offer a huge height adjustment range (in comparison) of 20-50mm lower than stock while still being in spec. I got this info directly from H&R in Germany via email. Btw, they were fantastic about answering all my questions over the months

See below for PSS10:

No plans for corner balancing just yet. Id only do that if I really plan on tracking the car where it can shave off that last bit of time.

I love the look of a car with no wheel gap but but I also remember how much of a pain it was driving around with my old RX7. I had to do the angle maneuver over every speed bump and driveways were always some puzzle that had to be solved. My goal is to get the most enjoyment out of the car possible and, for me, that means not have it be a PITA to drive.

Also, remember that part of the gap that you see is the offset of the wheels.

Cheers,
Mav

Speaking from experience... if you don't get a corner balance along with the alignment the car could feel unstable in med-high speed corners.

It was well worth it in my case.

+1. Tracking or not, I could tell when the corners aren't balanced. Maybe I am just a crazy driver everywhere.

Gophaster,

Then this doesn't make sense as this is straight off their website for our cars.
It clearly shows the following lowering ranges, or am I missing something?
Front Axle, Lowering ca. 25-35 mm
Rear Axle, Lowering ca. 15-20 mm

Edit; does this mean front lowering range is 35 -25=10 and rear 20-15=5mm?

I think you might be mixing up Lowering Range and Adjustment Range.

The "Lowering Range" 25-35F/15-20R.
The "Adjustment Range" is 10F/5R

So with this setup, the drop is 30mm +/-5mm in the front and 17.5mm +/-2.5mm in the rear.
