Anyone know if you can permanently opt out of the idiotic mobile view that this website along with Rennlist automatically default to when you use an iPhone? I don't need big font that an 80 year old needs to read and much prefer the full version. Both websites started to default to mobile view for me about a month ago and neither website keeps me logged in even if the box is checked so you have to log in each time. Both of this is annoying. Mobile view should be an option, not the other way around..

 

I prefer the full site too! Can you download Firefox browser on iPhone? (I use android, so I'm not sure) Firefox has a setting that you can check off to always "Request desktop site".


Maybe there is a setting like this in the iPhone browser?


Also, you could maybe try and see if you like the garage talk app.

 

I know it's not exactly what you are asking for but....

In android, once you are on the mobile version under settings is a check box for "Request Full Site", I assume the iPhone browser has a similar setting but not sure, no iPhones in the house.

 

Safari allows you to swap the browser agent string on iOS. I use Chrome and opt out of the mobile, no problem. There's also an app in the store for this site fwiw...
