I forget if the stock ones are all plastic...but thought they were. These new ones are definitely all metal.

I dont think NA cars have DVs...Main pont of a DV is to hold boost between shifts...

If your DV's are leaking Porsche will replace them with the new stock replacement "Baileys".

Hey msinidi, it's a world economy. Porsche uses engine cases made in Spain, brakes made in Italy. Is my credibilty that bad?

interesting...So I wasted $300+ plus labor for something I could have gotten for free...DO you know what model Baileys they are using?? The one in MJC's pic does not look like my DV30s...
Anyone in Porsche parts here??

The mechanic had a computer in his work area, and he ordered the Baileys on line from AWE. I don't remember the model number.

Do you have to prove something is wrong with your DV's? My car is new, and I don't hear andy honking noises, yet I would like to get Baileys.

I wish I would have known that before I went ahead and purchased the Baileys on my own.
My DVs started "honking" at about 3500 miles. I told the dealer I wasn't about to have the valves replaced with OEM valves and just be back 3500 miles later to have the same thing done again, especially when there was a guarenteed fix out there (Baileys). I told them the car was too expensive to have to deal with a pain in the rear bad part, and I expected it fixed the first time.

They agreed.

I think you'd be hard pressed to get the valves replaced with Baileys under warranty if you can't demonstrate a problem.

Mine were "honking" so it was a no brainer.

Except fot the noise being gone, I couldn't tell any difference in performance with the Baileys installed.

Replacing the DVs is not meant to increase performance but rather reduce the possibility of them failing and thus reducing performance by leaking turbo boost...
