If so please leave here your experience, I am about to pull the trigger for their front bumper including air ducts, oem lip, etc and their decklid with like oem wing and ventilation plate
the front bumper is fiberglass but isnt quite expensive in case it cracks and also the front lip is oem
I know they are selling for 40years or so in Europe, ordering from US is pretty complicated as shipping is difficult(big parcels) and also quite expensive
They sent me also some pics from another car using this kit
thanks!

Fadi, I would call RUF in Germany and get the Rturbo front bumper. It is made in Germany out of the same durable polyurethane material as OEM and is aerodynamically superior to the GT2 bumper since it has a built in splitter. Ducting is included but you will need to flip and tilt the front radiator to vent the air over the hood. You will also want to install GT2 front fender liners to complete the proper routing of air to the brakes. The Rturbo bumper is reasonably priced and fit and finish is OEM. I have a hunch that the same supplier that makes the OEM parts makes the RUF parts also. I've had it on my car for 12 years without issues... For the rear I would get something more aggressive than the stock GT2 wing if you are looking for track use..

I agree, for what you're getting the Ruf is a STEAL...

@LuvPorsche - I dont go OEM because of price...
@Kaizu - Yes I know that crazy car!!! 6:40 Nurburgring !!!!!!!
@PwdrHound - Regarding the front bumper I evaluated to go RUF, but as it's better quality than anything on the market and even better performance than OEM, I have to admit OEM looks better to me, and was considering to install later a better front lip and just assume the risk of cracking at some point, dont know if a good idea
For the rear was looking at kits like getty and others but also I love the OEM looks and no wing look very clean imo, didnt ever drove a 911 with a lot of aero so can not compare, what wing/decklid did you go with ?
@gop - thanks ! noted

I understand totally what you mean. I love the oem GT2 look as well (I happen to like the Ruf look probably equally)...but if you have your heart set on the GT2 then that's what you should go for
I'm not sure how the DP-Motorsports would compare to say the Precision Porsche version (that was the one that I was looking at) and I have heard great reviews about it.
I think the most problematic part is the lip and if it accepts oem lips you will probably be fine because you can easily replace them. If you have a good body man even the fiberglass bumper could be repaired if anything happens to it.

I run a rear Getty decklid and a full carbon 63" Cup wing. The difference in downforce is huge compared to the RUF wing that was on the car. The Getty stuff is very good as far as quality is concerned. Fitment is on par with OEM with minor prep work, basically indistinguishable from OEM fit.

I've got a glass Techart bumper and I've helped Irish100p fit his bumper. There's no comparison from a quality and toughness standpoint - urethane all the way. Unfortunately I'm not sure how the RUF would look on my car with the Techart skirts, spats, and GT2 style tail. I need to swap my bumper off or at least repair and re-spray it in the future. REALLY want some 997 style running LED somehow....
John, your car looks amazing!!!! The quality is also there, I can see that...hmmmm tough decision...
I bought also an old BMW E36 that will be ONLY track car - very very light (fiber glass bodykit), no lights, electrical systems at a minimum etc.. less than 2500lbs with cages etc.. this car will run M3 engine or a small turbo M25/28 based engine (built)
I guess will go for gt2 kit and might switch later... this is my first option now, till I dont change my mind to Getty! LOL

John, do you have the full Getty "Turbo Race Wing" package with their uprights or your custom uprights? The next unlikely moment you have some spare time, could you kindly approximate or measure the height of the wing or take some pics, so we get a better feeling of the package. Only prep and paint needed from Getty?
I have got already a rised Techart GT Street wing with their nice gurney lip, but that 63" wing is huge...

Honestly, I'm not sure if worth the change...but that's an intriguing upgrade for a track freak like me. if I can get good price out of the Techart the cost is modest...

Kai,
The wing and decklid is the Getty full race version. It comes with the large 63" carbon wing and carbon endplates. It is very light. The wing is basically just like a 997 Cup wing which is 65". The 996 Cup wing by comparison is 55". The uprights are just like those on a 996 Cup and provide a lot of adjustability. I have the wing set at the highest and flattest position to get it into clean air. This is the largest wing that you can get the the 996 wide body platform. It provided noticeably higher downforce than the RUF wing I had on the car previously. On a 2.5mile 2 minute track, the wing is good for 1.5 seconds. It really plants the car in the high speed sweepers but anything over 60mph is noticeable. I suspect that at speed of 80mph+ this wing provided a couple of hundred pounds of downforce. Good stuff. None of the "street" wings will come close to this. For a track car it's a no brainer. When I ran the car at Miller's 4.5mile high speed track, it really helped settle the car down in many of the 100+mph bumpy sweepers.
I ordered the wing based on the recommendation of my shop which is a Getty authorized shop. They've dealt with all the various aftermarket parts and said this is the only parts they recommend as the fit and finish is very good. I got the decklid primed from Getty and fitted it myself. Once all was fitted, my shop did the prep and paint. It is on par with OEM. There were a few little hiccups with the quality of some of the hardware but all that was overcome. Overall it's a very nice product. I will get some measurements done tomorrow and post them up. Here is a picture that gives you an idea of the position of the wing on the car. It is high enough to allow the use of the rear view mirror. It actually looks like it belongs on the car and doesn't look any more out of place than the wing on a 997GT3RS for example. Obviously on a street car this would be silly but for a track prepped car it's fitting..

Thanks John! That's wing package with deck lid and uprights is the one to do when looking easy choice for a hardcore track wing! Too bad Getty does not offer a more modern wing for our car, we could get less drag and more DF with a new generation wing (see newer Porsche Motorsport wings, CUP R, RSR etc.)...
Sorry I disagree, RUF not aerodynamically superior to GT2 bumper unless you talking about a GT2 bumper WITHOUT its factory front lip, but you wouldn't drive it without the front lip.
GT2 bumper sits much better. With RUF, you have lots of clearance but too much air going under your car, seen it many times in real life. Easy comparisons here:
Ruf has too much air going under the car:

GT2 much better:

That's because the RUF bumper has been tested in real life at Nardo at 351km/hr (218mph), according to the video the fastest a street 911 has ever driven. Obviously must be due to it's horrible aerodynamics and lack of downforce...
