Easiest access to injector harness

I am using a set of premade EV1 to EV14 adapters on my ID1000s and I am thinking about replacing them with a harness made from actual Bosch and Delphi connectors on the appropriate ends. I'd like to avoid having to drop the motor down or take a bunch of stuff out of the car to get at the injector wiring if at all possible.

I am planning on changing spark plugs in the near future and was wondering if I could get to the wiring from the bottom. My gut tells me I probably can't but I thought I would ask.

Thanks for any advice.

won't be any easier. have to drop the motor as far as you can and it still sucks. id should supply you with pins and connectors to hard solder them onto the stock harness. best way to go to prevent misfires

Thanks for the reply. Very helpful, as always.

I'm regretting not cutting and soldering the delphi connectors into the harness when I had the motor on the ground. ID supplied the adapters, which appear to be simple enough, but I'd feel better with OEM connectors in the car.

Oh well, at least I can mentally prepare for a not so fun job when I feel like taking it on.
