i can't isolate "it" since i imagine i ran with ebay knockoffs..and its too long ago..'

but i do now know i'm running paper mahle and oem mafs and haven't had an issue since. so it ain't broke, so i ain't gonna try and fix it. i hit 1.3 all the time and peg the limiter too, which was a certainty i''d fry the diode using knockoff mafs.. way back when. so if my maf "looks" dirty i'm not gonna try and rattle can clean it either.
