PCM1 volume problem.

Has anyone had any problems with the volume **** with their PCM1? I think I have a electrical contact problem within the volume ****. 1 out of 5 times when I turn the volume up, the volume actually goes down. It never goes up when I turn it down though. I am thinking about opening the unit, and cleaning the inside volume control with electrical contact cleaner.
Unfortunately my 01 Turbo is out of warranty, and my extended warranty does not cover PCM or any audio accessories. Thanks for any insight.

I have a fully functional PCM1 for sale if anyone needs it cheap. Came out of my car at 17k miles. its Minty
