Inside door sill refinishing or replacing?
Hey everyone. My inside door sill seen better days. What are you guys doing about yours? Are you refinishing it with spray paint? Wrapping it? Replacing it completely? Leaving as is on a 12+ year old car?
I'm not talking about the sills with Turbo on it, but the inside ones where you have the trunk/hood switches.

You could probably swap them for new ones (scope eBay!) or something snazzy like this MAcarbon also makes them and sells as a pair unlike DB which would also need this piece
I've purchased from DB before, responsive and good guys. Make sure you choose the finish you want in the drop down. They usually have a discount sale a bit before Christmas here and I'll likely be buying from them again when they do

krylon laquer paint? I believe that's what i used has held up very well. Multiple light coats.
It still gets scuffed up but it wipes off easily. Then again, you can get brand new set for 350 or so.

i painted mine with factory match color and a clear hardener. so far it holds up well. if it does scuff i can simply sand and respray it again
since i have aftermarket seats that arent power i also replaced the d/s sill with a boxster sill that only has 2 switches for the lids. cleans it up nicely
