GT2 v. Ferrari Stradale

I'm considering trading my GT2 for a Stradale, and would like some input. I've had the GT2 for 2 1/2 years, and have never tired of it. I prefer its 2 wheel drive rawness to awd, and I don't need or want all of the creature comforts. It's not a daily driver. I've got a little itch for something different, cancelled my order on a Gallardo last year, and love the styling of the CS. It certainly is more unique looking than the GT2. GT2-Josh had some great insight since he has owned both and is going back to a GT2. I'm very concerned that I'll miss the power, and his comments to me add to that concern. Anyone have any thoughts, even though I know it is very subjective?

This has been discussed before. You may want to do a search or go to the GT2 board.

The CS is a beautiful car. Do you track your car at all? Is depreciation a concern? Ferraris are gorgeous and sound great but they are a pain to maintain, much more expensive than a Porsche.

If I could afford it I'd do both!

Some women say that once you go black you never come back (I wonder why...). well this is not the case and ALL the people I know who went from Porsche to Ferrari came back at a least after a year of ownership. Exception only for the (many) people I know who got the money to have both...

Modern (360 and later) Ferraris are very reliable, certainly comparable to Porsche. Service costs may be a little higher, but not a deal-breaker. Scheduled services are at 5k, 15k, and 30k, and no engine-out is required for the belt change.

Depreciation is hard to predict, but I would bet the CS has the advantage compared to the GT2.

The CS is much more "electric" and involving to drive than the GT2, but the performance edge goes to the GT2. I personally would prefer the CS.

We all want something we don't have, Guaranteed you will miss the GT2!
F cars are like a piece of art, something to admire, but P cars are like a true driver's car. You cant beat the reliability and the power of the GT2.
I say stay with it.

I've driven both. The GT-2 is noticeable faster in highway/normal driving conditions. For daily driving the clutch engagement of the CS is still not quite right (software still makes mosts starts a little bucky and un-smooth).
If you are going to track the car a bunch, the CS is probably a better choice.
Overall maintenance on the GT-2 SHOULD be less.......
The brakes on the CS are amazing.

Guys, thanks for your comments. There is a lot more going into this decision than my original post, but I didn't want to bore you with my thought process. I've had 2 other F cars, a 308 4 valve and a 512BB, so I'm a little familiar with them, though not the newer ones. I've had many more P cars, especially turbos.

Well there are always variations...every manufacturer has some cars out there they are not proud of. But on average, I believe the 360 series is as reliable as any Porsche.

Wouldnt the standard 430 be a better buy then the 360CS (for performance considerations)? Of course if you want to wait go for the 430CS.
