Opinion on Wheels!

Hey guys, I have to buy new tires and I am trying to decide if I should keep the wheels that are on the car or put the GT2 wheels I have on the car. Silver car and the Gloss black wheels look good. But who doesn't love the GT2 wheels? Plus, I can get a 315 in the back vs a 295. Not sure how I feel about the silver on silver though. Any opinions or + - from you guys would be appreciated.

I think the black wheel does nothing for the car. That was the thing 10 years ago, now, not so much. Take this opportunity to update the look of your beautiful car.

Not a fan of solid black wheels and I believe your picture is a perfect example. You can't see the wheels.

I'm not sure what style you have on the car (GT3?), but I would just do a bronze or charcoal color on your existing wheels.

Later. Steve

That is kind of my thought, I added a few other pictures to view.

Those are the GT3 wheels currently on the car, I do not want to paint the GT2 wheels a different color.

They are in Turbo spec, the Twist are actual GT2 wheels.

Even though they are very heavy, I'd run the GT2 twists and sell off the GT3 wheels
although both seem to have a rising market value so maybe hold onto both sets if you can...

If there is no option to paint/powder coat the wheels, then I would definitely run the silver twists over the black GT3 wheels.

When I bought my TT it came with Chrome hollow spokes. I had to change them out ASAP. My criteria was an open light look, as light as weight as possible, a stocked and easily replaceable wheel and nice looking. I chose the Innsbruck in semi-gloss black and that was nearly 6 years ago. Since, I haven't seen anything I like better, although if I tire of them I can always change the color to orange, red, bronze, silver, grey or whatever.

The silver looks good on your car and makes it look period of late 90's to early '00s which is what it is. The black looks a bit updated and very nice. I quit keeping track of the latest trendy cutting edge fads years ago because many are out of favor as quickly as they come.

I don't think you could go wrong with either.

If it's between the two examples listed, I'd say GT2... Easily, without question.

Personally I like black with the silver but matte black not gloss, this is what's on my car. Wheel wise though the gt2 wheels being wider are better for tires and performance.

They are rising in value so I will absolutely be holding onto both sets. Might as well try the GT2 wheels. I like the idea of 315 in the back.
