That's an excellent option. Only thing is, I already have a few trans, and air cool engines as spares. I don't think my better half will accept that. Unless, I ended up paying alimony, and thats not an option. Good suggestion for those that have the flexibility though.

lol..thats funny only because i once spent a brief moment trying to guess at your annual tire budget. i think you had 4 sets of the yoko ad08's or something back when..

some of us are on a ( sorta ) budget

but man, i long for the days i was getting ps2's rears for 500 a pair. had i known i WOULDVE bought a pickup trucks worth.

Just bumping this thread... I couldn't wait any longer for rear tires, and with Tirerack showing backorders for a month or more, I decided to bite the bullet and go back to the 295/30/18 size for the Pirelli P Zeros.

Still have my 235/40's in front, I'm hoping that won't be a problem, as they are .4" taller than the rears will be.

Really starting to get annoyed at the lack of options and availability for GT2 sizes, seems like it's only going to get worse.

Yeah it annoying as ****. I have a set of Kenises K19 18s I'm about to have powder coated but I'm in no hurry because I can't get tires for them.

As I had suggested, your local Porsche dealer can source them.

I scooped up the last of Tirerack's Falken rears, sorry guys...Discount Tire(and others) do have them as well...
