Installing GT3 seats...help!

did anyone elses driver seat have an extra wiring harness going to some black box attached to the bottom of the seat rail?

I have the touring seats (not sport) with the heaters, eletric adjustment and seat memory. The passenger seat went in without a hitch, but I'm not sure what to do with this other stuff....

btw - my car is an 01

help!

pull the black plastic cover piece out...then there are a couple clips, use a flat head screwdriver to unlock the white/beige looking clip...I think there are 2 harnesses with 1 clip on each. Should come right out. It looks me a while, but I eventually got them off.

now are you talking about some 6"x4" box? Not the original wiring harness for the airbag?

Because this one seems to have wires going all over the place...by the way, what is all this for under here?

I'm not sure what the box is for, but I ran into it while installing my seat. I think it's for heated seats and memory??? Get the seats out of the car and take off the black cover..much easier to see.

cool, thanks guys. I got it out, and the gt3's went in easy. All of the wires from that box go into the seat motors etc., so it must have to do with the memory, heaters etc.

thanks for all the help...man these seats are sooooo much better than what I had. It feels like a race car now.

I concur! I'm not sure I couldn't buy P-car without them!!! Excellent support and not uncomfortable at all!
